I originally recorded this song using a single mic I had just purchased (Shure KSM-27). I recorded myself singing and playing guitar 2x and then, from the same seated position, I added the harmonies. I added a touch of compression and reverb and then bounced it to a stereo track. Frankly, I like the vocal of this original demo a little more than the finished version. I think I could have reproduced this vocal sensitivity in the final product, however, I felt it was time to move on and close the book on this song.
